According to the FIVB, the match was extraordinarily close, with Thailand finishing the five sets with 99 total points compared with China’s 98.
The victory added the 2026 title to Thailand’s previous Asian championships in 2009, 2013 and 2023. More importantly, it ended a long wait for an Olympic appearance by the Thai women’s national team. (FIVB )
