Thailand’s badminton star Ratchanok “May” Intanon has reached another major career milestone, recording her 600th career victory in women’s singles and becoming the first women’s singles player reported to have reached the mark.

The milestone came at the China Masters 2026 on September 2, 2026, when Ratchanok defeated Tung Ciou-Tong of Chinese Taipei in straight games, 21-16, 21-14, in the round of 32.

The 600-win figure refers to her career wins in women’s singles according to the reported statistical record, which includes some BWF junior-level competition. It should therefore not be interpreted as 600 victories exclusively on the senior BWF World Tour.

Ratchanok has been one of Thailand’s most internationally recognized badminton players for more than a decade. She won three consecutive World Junior Championships from 2009 to 2011, became women’s singles world champion in 2013, and reached World No. 1 in 2016.

Reaching 600 career victories adds another landmark to a career that has helped establish Thailand as a major force in international badminton.

For Thai sports fans, the achievement is more than a number. It reflects Ratchanok’s longevity, consistency and ability to remain competitive at the highest levels of the sport across generations.
