หัวใจสำคัญจึงอยู่ที่ “เส้นทางการเงิน” เพราะหากพบธุรกรรมที่เชื่อมโยงกับพฤติการณ์จัดตั้งหรือควบคุมการลงคะแนน ก็อาจเป็นหลักฐานประกอบการตรวจสอบความสัมพันธ์ระหว่างผู้จ่าย ผู้ประสานงาน และผู้ได้รับประโยชน์ได้
อย่างไรก็ตาม บุคคลหรือกลุ่มใดที่ถูกพาดพิงยังต้องได้รับการตรวจสอบตามกระบวนการยุติธรรม และยังไม่สามารถถือว่ามีความผิดจากข้อกล่าวหาเพียงอย่างเดียว

ดร.ดิเรกฤทธิ์ยังเสนอแนวทางว่า หากข้อกล่าวหาใดไม่เป็นความจริง ก็ควรตรวจสอบให้สามารถยืนยันความบริสุทธิ์ได้อย่างชัดเจน
แต่หากพบพยานหลักฐานที่เชื่อมโยงกัน ก็ต้องเดินหน้าต่อไปให้ถึง ต้นทางของเงิน ผู้จัดการ ผู้สั่งการ และผู้รับประโยชน์ตัวจริง

However, any individuals or groups implicated in the allegations remain entitled to due process. Allegations alone do not establish guilt.

Dr. Direkrit also argued that if any allegation proves unfounded, the investigation should establish the innocence of those concerned clearly and transparently.
