ความคืบหน้าเหตุยิงภายในที่ทำการองค์การบริหารส่วนจังหวัดนนทบุรี เมื่อช่วงสายวันที่ 10 สิงหาคม 2569 ล่าสุดตำรวจ สภ.รัตนาธิเบศร์ควบคุมตัว นายฉลอง เรี่ยวแรง อดีต ส.ส.นนทบุรีหลายสมัย ลงจากชั้น 3 มายังห้องประชุม เพื่อให้ข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับเหตุการณ์ที่เกิดขึ้น
ตามรายงานที่เผยแพร่ นายฉลองยอมรับว่าเดินทางไปพบ พ.ต.อ.ธงชัย เย็นประเสริฐ นายก อบจ.นนทบุรี ซึ่งรู้จักกันในฐานะเพื่อน โดยมีประเด็นสำคัญคือ เงินจำนวน 11 ล้านบาท
นายฉลองระบุว่า เงินดังกล่าวเป็นเงินที่เคยให้เพื่อนยืม และในช่วงที่ผ่านมาเจ้าตัวกำลังประสบปัญหาทางการเงิน รวมถึงมีค่าใช้จ่ายเกี่ยวกับการรักษาอาการป่วย จึงต้องการขอเงินกลับคืน

นายฉลองเล่าว่า ที่ผ่านมาเคยช่วยเหลือเพื่อนหลายคน ทั้งเรื่องธุรกิจและการทำโครงการหมู่บ้าน บางรายเคยให้เงินสูงถึง 6 ล้านบาท หรือ 15 ล้านบาท แต่ไม่ได้ติดตามทวงคืน เนื่องจากเป็นการช่วยเหลือด้วยความเต็มใจ
แต่สำหรับเงิน 11 ล้านบาท ครั้งนี้ นายฉลองระบุว่าตนเองมีความจำเป็นต้องใช้เงิน จึงเดินทางไปพูดคุยกับ พ.ต.อ.ธงชัย
จากคำให้การของนายฉลอง ระหว่างการพูดคุยเกิดการโต้เถียงและมีการผลักกัน ก่อนที่อีกฝ่ายจะเดินลงไปขึ้นรถ
นายฉลองจึงเดินตามไปเคาะกระจกรถเพื่อขอพูดคุยต่อ โดยขณะนั้น นายฉลองยอมรับว่าถืออาวุธปืนอยู่ด้วย
🚨 อ้าง “คนขับชักปืนก่อน” ก่อนตัดสินใจยิง

นายฉลองเปิดเผยว่า หลังเกิดเหตุได้เดินทางออกจากจุดเกิดเหตุ เพราะในขณะนั้นคิดว่าอีกฝ่ายอาจไม่ได้รับอันตรายร้ายแรง ก่อนจะขึ้นรถจักรยานยนต์และกลับมามอบตัวต่อเจ้าหน้าที่ตำรวจ
จากนั้นตำรวจได้ควบคุมตัวเข้าสู่กระบวนการสอบสวนที่ สภ.รัตนาธิเบศร์
